TL:DR: disappointing formula AND results. Alcohol- and fragrance-laden. As someone who's tried every other "hydrating/bouncy/hyaluronic acid/aqua" product on the market, I unfortunately can't recommend this in good conscience. The texture is nice enough when applied (nice and cooling, and smooth to spread around without being tacky), but it stops at that. Alcohol denat is 3rd on the list; not necessarily a "harmful" ingredient, but more on that below. There's fragrance in this for some reason, but it STILL smells like something organic went bad and sour. Biotherm might as well have left it out for those allergic to fragrance. The hyaluronic acid, which should do a bulk of the heavy lifting, so to speak, is so low on the INCI list that it's negligible, and the results of that definitely showed on my skin. My skin felt nice upon application, and I followed with my routine squalane and moisturizer on top, but I woke up with angry skin. Tried it again with my morning routine and makeup on top, and my concealer revealed flakes. I'm not allergic/sensitive to any other ingredients on the list, including fragrance, so the culprit is almost certainly the very-drying alcohol denat. After using it again the next night without improvement, I had to stop and use the remainder of the tube on my body mixed in with a super heavy cream so I wouldn't waste it. (They kind of cancelled each other s textures out) I suspect the glycerin gives the product its nice initial texture and hydrates the skin a bit, but it doesn't cancel out what the alcohol in the formula does. Given that glycerin and hyaluronic acid are no longer brand-new, innovative products in skincare, there are definitely MANY better products on the market that have ingredients that aren't demonstrated to be drying and aggravating for those with sensitive skin (alcohol denat). I understand that the formulators likely put this in to help it evaporate quicker and give it a light, non-tacky finish, but skincare should HELP skin above all, even finish and achieving a "cosmetic elegant finish." Other brands still manage to achieve this without alcohol. I wish I could recommend this, but it's beyond lazy for 2019, and Biotherm has come out with better stuff.

It was too oily and made my face feel very greasy. Makeup couldn't be easily applied over it.

I first purchased this in a duty-free shop onboard a ship in Scandinavia. I have repeatedly purchased it ever since. It’s a great lightweight moisturizing serum that absorbs quickly into my skin and leaves zero residue. It has a very mild clean ocean scent that disappears quickly after applying. It’s perfect alone, or I can layer another moisturizer on top if it’s very cold or windy out. Makeup goes on easily with this as a base. I have sensitive skin and eyes, and this has never caused an issue. I’m always trying new makeup & beauty products, but I don’t stray from this one. It’s A+++

I have a bit of dry skin so I use this product just before the moisturizer and it aborbs well. NO sticky feeling.

I love biotherm it’s now my favourite brand to use on my face. I brought two different products since getting my sample.
