Biosource Softening Foaming Cleanser

For reference: I have normal to dry, eczema-prone, somewhat sensitive skin, and I’m currently 30 years old. I’ve been using this cleanser since I was 21—and, trust me, my skin has changed *a lot* since then. I’m now encountering some signs of aging on my face, and my smile lines are definitely more prominent now. For what it’s worth, as a makeup artist (among my many trainings) and skincare enthusiast, I’ve tried *so many* cleansers throughout the years, from drugstore to the bougiest imaginable, from North America, South America, Europe, South Korea, Japan, and beyond. In addition, this is also my boyfriend’s favorite cleanser. He has oily skin through and through, and prior to dating me, he only used one type of soap all over—“bar.” In the 5+ years we’ve been together I’ve introduced him to a whole new world of skincare, and yet this cleanser also remains one of his favorites. Every time I stray from this cleanser, I go back to it, because it’s simply the best. I first purchased it on a whim at Shoppers when I lived in Canada. Almost 10 years later, I live in a different country, in a different climate, and I still love this cleanser. The creamy texture is a delight, and it just makes it easier for me to properly cleanse my skin even when I’m tired at night and don’t want to do it. It feels indulgent and pleasant, and I find the cosmetic sophistication in the feel of formula well within if not beyond the price tag of this product—although the price has gone up quite a bit in the 9 years I’ve been repurchasing this cleanser. It does have some fragrance, it does not aggravate my skin or my scent sensitivity, and it’s probably included in the formula in a low concentration. I do not find the clay in the formula aggravating at all, even when my skin is on the drier side. While I tend to generally avoid foaming cleansers, this one is absolutely gentle and, again, does not aggravate my skin nor does my face feel like it’s completely stripped off after I use this cleanser. I’m honestly just writing this review because I have just finished another cleanser that was easier for me to get a hold of and I came to Biotherm’s website to look for this bad boy again. When I couldn’t find it on the website, I started freaking out that it had gotten discontinued. Thankfully it hasn’t, but then I thought I’d spread the word because I love it so much and I want to spread the love—and, also, I want it to sell well so Biotherm never discontinues it. So, yes, I’m being self-serving in writing this review—but only insofar as I don’t want to not be able to have access to this cleanser. But then again, I’m also doing a public service here because this stuff is so good! Try it and thank me later!

This is a great product. I am older and find that regular use takes the redness out of my face. I am surprised it cleans so well. leaves my skin very clean and feeling soft. I get numerous comments from people since I started using.

My face has been cleaned with this for a long time and the results are extraordinary. It leaves my skin spectacular: smooth, light, moisturized and keeping clean of pimples and damage. My face is very sensitive, so I am happy with this option in the market.

I have been using Biosource Mousse for several years. I would highly recommend it - it is so refreshing!

The quality of your product has deteriorated significantly. The face wash is much thinner than before, and the fragrance has changed. The original scent was great, but the current one is unpleasant.

Amazing for dry skin! I had a bunch of patches of dry flaky skin and someone had told me they loved this cleanser so I tried it and it blew me away !!!

I have just started using BioSource Cream Cleanser for dry skin. I absolutely love what it does for me! It takes very little and when mixed with warm water it is a perfect consistency. Best of all, it thoroughly cleans off my makeup and still leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. This is my new "must have " cleanser. And the delicate scent? I love it! Now the 24hr Hydrating & Softening Toner for dry skin is another new "must have". Paired, my skin feels so loved! No residue and such a silky, soft finish. I love it! My skin feels baby soft. :)

I have used Biosource Mousse for dry skin for many years. It works well for me. The large size is a little awkward. It seems like the mousse does not come out easily.

I have normal to dry skin, and have been using some similar facial cleanser from Lancome as my morning in-shower cleanser for quite a few years. I decided to give Biotherm a try after receiving a generous promotion code. It does not disappoint at all. The mousse cleanser lathers well. The texture is silky, and the fragrance is very pleasant. With kaolin as one of the ingredients, it cleanses and leaves my face smooth without drying. I really like it a lot, and would consider switching to this product full-time.
